For our first question, here’s one I’ve been asked many, many times: “What has changed at Tiffin since the THOR acquisition?”
When Tiffin joined the THOR family of companies four years ago, we knew the decision would spark questions, curiosity, and maybe even some concerns among our loyal customers. For decades, Tiffin has been a name synonymous with quality, great service, and a personal touch—a legacy built by my family and upheld by our dedicated team. So, it’s natural to wonder if an acquisition might change the heart of what makes Tiffin special. Let me assure you, it hasn’t.
What’s changed? To put it simply, very little—and that’s by design. When we decided to partner with THOR, preserving Tiffin’s independence and integrity was our top priority. While we’ve gained access to additional resources and expertise through THOR, we’ve retained full control over the aspects that make Tiffin unique. This includes our designs, our focus on customer service, and our unparalleled commitment to our owners.
The same people who have been building Tiffin coaches for years are still here, pouring their dedication into every unit we produce. The Tiffin family remains deeply involved in daily operations, ensuring that the values of trust, quality, and community continue to drive every decision we make.
One significant benefit of the partnership has been our ability to invest in new technologies and facilities without sacrificing our core principles. THOR’s support has allowed us to enhance what we do best—delivering premium motorhomes with the care and attention our customers have come to expect. In other words, their resources have helped strengthen our foundation, not alter it.
