Discovering the Tiffin Trademarks

At Tiffin, we've always believed in quality over quantity. We take pride in producing craftsmanship rather than numbers in order to focus on what counts – making the best motorhomes on the market. The following are features that while some might call them luxury, we call them standard.

Handcrafted Cabinets

Our in-house Tiffin cabinet makers located in Red Bay and Vina, Alabama, handcraft high-end cabinets, like cherry and alder, for every elegant piece of cabinetry in our coaches. First, they remove all knots and imperfections in the wood before cutting and forming the individual cabinet pieces. And the attention to detail doesn't stop there – our craftsmen follow a 20-step process to build one cabinet door, which includes multiple layers of clear sealant to ensure longevity. To give you some perspective, there are between 60-110 cabinet doors in each coach. Every piece of cabinetry can be custom finished to your liking, and because we make them in-house, if you ever need to replace or repair one, we can match it exactly.

Paint Perfection

Tiffin's paint system is unmatched by its competition. Within our state-of-the-art paint facility, coaches are given multiple layers of top-quality BASF paint and clear coating to preserve color and shine for years to come. Each layer is baked at 180 degrees before the next coat is added. It's not excessive; it's thinking ahead. You're going to be out on the road in various weather conditions for extended periods. And this process is going to keep your paint shiny and flawless so your Tiffin can age with grace.

Rear Engine Diesel

Anyone who's ever ridden in a front-engine motorhome knows they're a bit cramped and loud. That's why our engineers opted for rear-engine diesel chassis on the Class A, so that the sound of the engine lives in the rear of the vehicle rather than in the cab. It makes for a much more enjoyable driving experience. Also, there's no unnecessary hump in the floor, leaving you with more space and less hassle to get in and out of the seat.

Real Ductwork

A quiet climate control technology keeps warm or cool air circulating through ceiling vent ducts to easily maintain your desired interior temperature. We call this feature the EXTRAORDINAIRE ™ SYSTEM, and it comes standard in both the Class A and Class C.

There's nothing like riding on the open road in an RV. You have the freedom to experience the outdoors at your own pace, stopping to see the world's largest mailbox or even to taste the best burger in the United States – motorhome life is unlike any other. But knowing that you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your vehicle? That's the difference in owning a Tiffin motorhome, and something else.
